California Vote: A Quake Felt Across America

The vote in California this week was equivalent to an earthquake felt across America. Is it a warning of things to come? The citizens of this country are fed up with the incompetence of their elected leaders and will no longer accept increased taxes to compensate for wasteful spending. In the past couple of years the Republicans have suffered the wrath of the left. Now that the Democrats are totally in charge they are proving to be even more inept. No longer can they continue to enjoy the luxury of blaming everything on George Bush and his administration. It’s time for the Democratic party to take off the knickers and put on the big boy pants and start accepting responsibility for the decisions that they are making.

During the recent teaparty movement there were those on the left along with the main stream news media that would have everyone believe that this was an act of subversion by a bunch of malcontent rednecks, racists and losers. But they were wrong. It was people, American citizens of all persuassions that are disgusted with the direction their elected government officials are taking this country.

The recent California vote was not a teaparty. It was a very loud voice that was heard across this country. Although not a very large turnout of voters it once again proved how important a vote really is.

Washington – are you listening?
