Peaceful Intent Trumps Deeds

The President states he was surprised after hearing he had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

America awoke this morning to the sound of a collective gasp that was heard around the world with the news that Barack Hussein Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace prize. Since when does intent trump actual productive deeds?

The Norwegian Nobel Committee cited “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.” Most notably his speeches calling for nuclear disarmament and his pandering to the Muslim world.

Closer to home maybe Obama can start using his power of peaceful persuassion to bring some peace to his hometown of Chicago.
