Obama Blitzkrieg Dodges Fox News
It would appear that Barack Obama is getting an extraordinary amount of primetime face time. Last Friday the President sat down with the following for one-on-one interviews that were aired on Sunday: ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, CBS’s Bob Schieffer, NBC’s David Gregory, CNN’s John King and the Spanish-language Univision. Fox News was purposely snubbed. This prompted Chris Wallace, host of Fox News Sunday, to tell Bill O’Reilly, “They are the biggest bunch of crybabies I have dealt with in my 30 years in Washington.”
Throughout all of the softball questions there remained a common thread. No new revelations to report. Just a rehashing of the President’s stance on the issues.
And Obama is not done yet. He will appear with one of his most smitten and loyal late night comedians, David Letterman, on CBS’s Late Show.
Barack Obama has racked up 124 interviews so far as compared to George Bush’s 40 and Bill Clinton’s 46 during their same time period in office.
What does it say about this President’s excessive and incessant need to be seen and heard?
