Air Force One Jet-Jacking Escapade
What’s that? The Commander-in-Chief didn’t know where his Air Force One 747 was yesterday? Mr. President your Air Force One was involved in a New York City low flyover while participating in a photo op. It caused a panic that had people evacuating buildings in New York and New Jersey.
Well, instead of Obama fessing up and accepting responsibility for this incident it was left up to a low level player, namely Louis Caldera who confessed to being responsible for this jet-jacking escapade. Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, promptly apologized. So what’s worse? Not knowing, not accepting responsibilty, passing the blame, lying maybe. It would appear the President has a leadership flaw indicating a lack of control over his personnel as well as not bearing full responsibility in that position of leadership.
Harry Truman had a sign on his desk that read “The Buck Stops Here”. In other words he accepted full responsibilty for what happened in his administration. “The Buck Stops Here” sign needs to be pulled out of storage and placed back on the Oval Office desk – not that it would help but maybe serve as a reminder.

Air Force One is not any one particular plane.
It is the name of whatever the President happens to be on at the time.
If he is not on it, it is not Air Force One.
Good point. It was merely a way of describing that particular plane when used by the President.
