What Will All the Bush-Haters Do Now?

They’ve had an eight-year run. President George W. Bush was the liberal left’s personal conservative whipping boy for two Presidential terms.  He was blamed for everything bad – hurricaines, global warming, high gas prices, tsunamis, world hunger, you name it, and of course got credit for nothing good.

So while you’re yukking it up with your Bush-hating buddies you’ll have to come to terms with the fact that there has not been another terrorist attack in the United States since September 11, 2001.  That date forever and profoundly changed this country and the world.  It is not just by chance or a coincidence that we have not been attacked again but through President Bush’s decisive action.  Government departments were brought together, Homeland Security was created and our military prepared for imminent combat.  There are few people or families that have not been affected by the War on Terrorism.  Our warriors continually keep our enemies at bay, constantly distracting them from their goal of once again wreaking havoc on this country.

So to all the Bush-haters, what do you do now?  Where and on whom do you vent your voracious anger?  Will you now turn on your own or will they do no wrong?  Democrats are now firmly enscounced in the Washington “bubble” and are in the hot seat with the responsibilty firmly and squarely on their shoulders.  Let the games begin.
