Brown v Coakley

There is an election this week that the entire nation will be watching. Massachusetts will be voting for a Senator to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Ted Kennedy. The Republican candidate is state Senator Scott Brown and the Democratic candidate is Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley.

This will be a vote for the people or a vote for another Pelosi puppet. Nancy Pelosi would just love to add another puppet to her collection. What really gripes Democrats is their inability to tie Scott Brown to former President George Bush. That dog will no longer hunt and liberals will have to find another reason to denigrate Republican opponents. Maybe that is why Obama criticized Scott Brown’s pick-up truck during his trip to Massachusetts on Sunday.

The President’s visit to Massachusetts represents a failure on his part. If the people of this state were so enamored with the first year of Obama then naturally the Democratic candidate would not have required his presence and words of “support”. Has Barack Obama become a liability for Democratic candidates?

It has become painfully apparent that a balance of political power is essential. It is not in the nation’s best interest to have one political party hold power over another. A one party majority holds American citizens hostage to that party’s whim in the name of an assumed mandate.

America will be anxiously waiting for the results from this election. Will we be set free or will the liberal oppression continue?
