The Road To Perpetual Debt
In yet another vote to heap further debt on American middle-class citizens the Democrats voted in favor to bring the health care reform bill to debate.
This bill is a jump into the great unknown, not a leap of faith but a fall into the abyss of big government. It’s right where the Democrats want us, helpless and dependent.
It can only be hoped that this debate will expose this bill for what it is, a means for government to gain a foothold into the health care system with an eventual insidious takeover of all health care for Americans. There are no definitive provisions that prevent this from happening.
To review what Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) stated, “this bill is a massive monument to beaurocracy and spending.” He went on to say that it would raise taxes, raise health insurance premiums, and cut medicare. There are no reforms in this bill that would address junk lawsuits, encourage healthy choices and prevention, let consumers buy coverage across state lines, and no prevention of fraud, waste and abuse.
Polls still show that the majority of Americans oppose this bill but Democrats are intent on ramming it through and cramming it down our throats.
Let the debate begin.
