Al Gore Needed At Coors Field

With temperatures hovering around the freezing mark baseball fans hunkered down at Denver’s Coors Field last night hoping for a little bit of Al Gore’s global warming.

Where was Al Gore?

He could have shown up for the seventh inning stretch and warmed the audience with tales of melting polar ice caps and average temperatures increasing one degree every hundred years. Maybe he could have passed out blankets along with the hope that global warming will soon be here.

It seems the only time we hear global warming speeches is in mid-July during a heat wave.

I predict that somehow these colder than average temperatures for October will be twisted around and blamed on global warming. But we will need Al Gore’s superior scientific knowledge to explain all this to the average Rockie’s baseball fan.
