Hillary - Proud to be a Wife?

In the opening salvo of her speech last night Hillary Clinton said she was, “proud to be a mother, proud to be a Democrat, proud to be a Senator from New York, proud to be an American, and proud to be a supporter of Barack Obama.” What? Is the former First Lady not proud to be a wife? How many wives out there picked up on that? Maybe that’s why Bill kept lip synching, “I love you, I love you” as the camera kept panning over to catch his periodic reaction. Can we assume that “proud to be a wife” was intentionally left out? Did she forget to put it in? Was it in the speech and she skipped over it? Did she deliberately skip over it or did she just miss it on the teleprompt? Is she not “proud to be a wife?” Bill, the bloom is off the rose, time to buy another bouquet.
