Quickly – The Left is Waiting For Their Handout

As the Senate debates the pork-laden Stimulus Bill the American Left waits with wringing hands and bated breath.  After all, there are many people waiting for Mother Government to suckle them. Has every Senator actually read every word of this bill? Doubtful. May I suggest Evelyn Wood’s Speed Reading course. A more logical conclusion would be that each Senator is paying close attention to their particular area of interest.

The President is hell-bent on pushing this bill through as is and as fast as possible. Why? He’s betting on the fact that most Americans will not be able to decipher the excess fat that permeates this bill. Our political representatives are piling astronomical debt on top of an already out-of-control deficit. Billion is the new million and trillion is the new billion. Numbers that are becoming almost meaningless but should curdle the blood of every tax-paying American. The Republicans will slow this bill down but the end result will be the same – exorbitant debt. Spreading the wealth was once a campaign concern. Spreading the debt will become the new reality in Obama’s Administration of change.
